Care - SuedeUpdated an hour ago
Suede has a soft, velvety texture, known as the nap, that needs a little extra care. Here’s how we recommend caring for our suede pieces:
- Blot spills: For most spills, press a clean, dry cloth onto the affected area to absorb moisture. Do not rub.
- Brush: For surface dirt and dust, brush gently in one direction with a dry suede brush or a clean, soft-bristled brush.
- Treat light stains: Use a suede eraser, or gently work the area with a clean, dry cloth.
- Dry and restore: Let any moisture air dry fully, then brush to restore the nap.
Please avoid:
- Machine washing or tumble drying
- Bleach, solvents, or stain removers
- Steam ironing or direct heat
- Dry-cleaning the full bag
- Water, soap, or household cleaners
- Rubbing or scrubbing, which can flatten or damage the nap
